Kaitlin Capetillo joined Sheehy, Lovelace & Mayfield at the start of 2025. Kaitlin focuses her practice primarily on family law and she represents clients in a variety of complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, modification, enforcement, child support, protective orders, terminations and adoptions.
Kaitlin was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, but quickly came to love Waco while attending school at Baylor University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Kaitlin then attended Texas Tech School of Law in Lubbock, Texas where she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and a recipient of the CALI Award and Jurisprudence Award in Legal Practice.
Outside of the office, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and live music. Kaitlin also has a love for all things crafty and is an avid longarm quilter.
